This guide covers the most common errors when connecting and configuring Meta Ads.

You can fix these problems quickly. Here are the steps.


Connection Errors

"Connection Failed"

Message: We couldn't connect your Meta account. Please try again.

Causes:

  • You did not accept all requested permissions

  • Facebook session expired

  • Pop-up blocker active

Solution:

  1. Disable pop-up blockers

  2. Click "Retry"

  3. Accept ALL permissions in the Facebook window

  4. Do not close the window until you finish

If this happens, it is almost always due to permissions, session, or pop-ups.


"Unexpected callback state"

Message: Unexpected callback state. Please try again.

Cause: Error during OAuth authorization.

Solution:

  1. Close the current window

  2. Return to Connected Accounts

  3. Try to connect again


The Facebook window does not open

Causes:

  • Pop-up blocker

  • Browser extensions

Solution:

  1. Allow pop-ups for saleads.ai

  2. Try in incognito mode

  3. Temporarily disable extensions

It is usually due to pop-ups or browser extensions.


Business Manager Errors

"No Business Managers Found"

Message: We couldn't find any Business Manager on your Meta account.

Causes:

  1. You don't have a Business Manager created

  2. You didn't grant access during the connection

Solution:

If you don't have a Business Manager:

  1. Create an account

  2. Return to SaleAds.ai

  3. Disconnect and reconnect Meta

If you have it but it does not appear:

  1. Disconnect Meta on SaleAds.ai

  2. Reconnect and select ALL Business Managers


"Error loading Business Managers"

Cause: Temporary connection problem.

Solution:

  1. Click "Retry"

  2. Wait 30 seconds

  3. If it continues, try in 5-10 minutes


Ad Account Errors

"No ad accounts found"

Message: No ad accounts were found for the selected Business Manager.

Solution:

  1. Click on "Create New Ad Account"

  2. Or request access to an existing account in Business Manager


"Error creating the ad account"

Causes:

  • Account limit reached

  • Restrictions on the Facebook account

Solution:

  1. Check limits in Business Manager

  2. Create the account manually in business.facebook.comarrow-up-right

  3. Go back and select it


Asset Errors

"No pages found"

Cause: The page is not added to the Business Manager.

Solution:

  1. Go to Business Manager → Settings → Pages

  2. Add your page

  3. Return to SaleAds.ai


"No linked Instagram accounts"

Cause: Instagram is not connected to the Facebook Page.

Solution:

  1. In Instagram: Settings → Account → Linked Accounts

  2. Connect with Facebook

  3. Select your Page

  4. Return to SaleAds.ai


Saving Errors

"Error saving settings"

Causes:

  • Connection problem

  • Session expired

Solution:

  1. Check your internet connection

  2. Try saving again

  3. If it persists, reload the page


"Error disconnecting the Meta account"

Solution:

  1. Wait a few seconds

  2. Try disconnecting again

  3. If it fails, contact support


General Checks

If you have persistent problems:

  1. Check in Meta: Go to business.facebook.comarrow-up-right and confirm that you can access

  2. Try another browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge

  3. Clear the cache: Clear the browser cache

  4. Incognito mode: Try in a private window
